Approximately 1.5 lakh engineering aspirants — the top JEE Main 2026 qualifiers — appeared in JEE Advanced 2026 on May 17, 2026. The answer key lets candidates cross-check their marked responses against the official answers and estimate probable scores ahead of the JoSAA 2026 IIT counselling.
How to raise an objection: Log in at jeeadv.ac.in using the JEE Advanced registration number and date of birth, open the Provisional Answer Key Challenge link, select the disputed question(s), upload supporting material and pay the per-question challenge fee. All challenges are reviewed by IIT Roorkee before the final key is published with the result on June 1.
For AP/TS aspirants: JoSAA 2026 counselling for IITs/NITs/IIITs/GFTIs typically begins within a week of the JEE Advanced result and runs 5–6 rounds in June–July. IIT Hyderabad continues to be the most popular IIT for Telugu-state candidates, followed by IIT Madras, Bombay and Roorkee.
