NEET UG 2026 is scheduled for May 3 (2:00–5:00 PM). NTA released the exam city intimation slip on April 12. As originally notified, the admit card was expected April 26 — this was later postponed by one day to April 27 (see the April 26 update).
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has confirmed key details for NEET UG 2026, the single medical/dental/AYUSH entrance exam for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, B.V.Sc and allied courses.
• Exam date: May 3, 2026 (Sunday)
• Timing: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (pen-and-paper mode)
• Exam city intimation slip: Released April 12, 2026
• Admit card: Originally expected April 26, 2026 — postponed to April 27, 2026 at 10:00 AM (see April 26 update)

What AP/TS aspirants should do now:
• Check the city intimation slip on neet.nta.nic.in and plan travel/accommodation early
• Carry the printed admit card + one valid photo ID (Aadhaar preferred) to the exam centre
• Reach the centre at least 1.5 hours before the exam; centres close gate 30 minutes before start
• NEET UG 2026 scores are required for all MBBS/BDS admissions in AP (Dr. NTR UHS counselling) and Telangana (KNRUHS counselling), as well as central quota (MCC) and deemed universities
AP/TS medical counselling is expected to start after NEET UG results, typically in July 2026.
