Osmania University, on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), successfully conducted TS (TG) ECET 2026 — the lateral-entry test for diploma holders and B.Sc graduates seeking direct admission into the second year of B.Tech / B.Pharm programmes in Telangana — on May 15, 2026 in CBT mode. • Eligibility streams: Diploma in Engineering / B.Sc Mathematics graduates for lateral B.Tech; Diploma in Pharmacy for lateral B.Pharm • Official portal: ecet.tgche.ac.in • Provisional answer key + response sheet: Expected within 7–10 days • Result: Expected late May / early June 2026 • Counselling: Typically July–August 2026 (after main TG EAPCET counselling concludes) Candidates should keep their diploma/B.Sc marks memos, SSC certificate, study/conduct certificate, caste certificate (if applicable) and Aadhaar ready for the counselling document-verification stage. Lateral-entry seats are filled in the 10% supernumerary quota over and above the sanctioned intake of each engineering branch.
