G.O. Ms. No. 06 dated 04.03.2026 fixes B.E./B.Tech tuition fees for 160 private unaided engineering colleges in Telangana for the 2025–26 to 2027–28 block. Minimum ₹45,000/yr; CBIT tops the list at ₹1,83,000/yr.
The Telangana Higher Education (Technical Education) Department issued G.O. Ms. No. 06 on March 4, 2026 finalising the tuition fee structure for B.E./B.Tech programmes in private unaided engineering colleges for the three-year block 2025–26 to 2027–28. The order follows recommendations of the Telangana Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (TAFRC).
Fee range:
• Minimum annual tuition fee: ₹45,000
• Maximum annual tuition fee: ₹1,83,000 (Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology — CBIT, Hyderabad)
• 160 private unaided engineering colleges covered
• 63 colleges saw a fee hike relative to the 2022–25 block; some institutions saw reductions
Scope:
• The fee fixed is the annual tuition fee only — it does NOT include special fee or admission fee
• Institutions must collect fees for the applicable academic year (lump sum or in instalments)
• Applies to both convenor quota (TGCHE counselling) and management quota seats, subject to category-wise rules
What this means for students:
• Convenor quota fees payable during TGCHE counselling (expected July–August 2026) are now locked for the three-year block
• The government fee-reimbursement scheme will cover the convenor-quota tuition fee for eligible candidates as per current policy
• Management-quota and NRI fees remain college-specific but are capped by the block ceiling
TeluguColleges will update the per-college fee pages (/colleges/[slug]/fees) to reflect the 2025–28 block figures over the coming weeks as the TAFRC list is tabulated.
