20,000 Rank in AP EAPCET — FAQs
Which IT colleges can I get with 20,000 rank in AP EAPCET?
Based on official 2024–25 convener-quota closing ranks, 39 Andhra Pradesh colleges closed IT at or beyond rank 20,000 for OC — including M V G R College of Engineering, Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology, Prasad V Potluri Siddhartha Institute of Technology. Cutoffs shift every year, so treat these as realistic targets rather than guarantees.
Is 20,000 a good rank in AP EAPCET 2026?
It depends on the branch and category. For IT, 39 colleges were reachable at this rank for OC candidates in 2024–25. Reserved-category (BC, SC, ST, EWS) closing ranks are substantially higher than OC, so the same rank reaches more colleges in those categories.
Do these cutoffs apply to all categories?
No — the table on this page uses OC (boys) closing ranks as the reference. Closing ranks for BC-A/B/C/D/E, SC, ST and EWS are higher (more lenient), and girls' closing ranks also differ. Use the TeluguColleges EAPCET predictor for a list matched to your exact category and gender.
When is AP EAPCET 2026 counselling?
AP EAPCET 2026 results are available; confirm the current counselling round on the official portal. Official closing ranks for 2026 are published after each allotment round.
Methodology: closing ranks are sourced from official APSCHE / JNTU Kakinada last-rank statements for 2024–25. Reference data is OC (boys) — actual cutoffs vary by category and gender, and the convenor-quota cutoffs in 2026 may shift higher or lower than the reference year. Use this list as a shortlist for further research, not as an admission guarantee.
